In the month of April 2008, we had a total of 147 non attended appointments. Patients who do not turn up are jeopardising important appointment availability for needy patients. If you cannot make your appointment for whatever reason, please do let us know so that we can offer that appointment to somebody else in need.

Patient Choice
If your GP decides you need to be referred to a specialist you can choose (in most cases) which hospital you would like to go to. Once you have been referred you can ring and arrange your own appointment. Ask for a leaflet or visit www.nhs.uk/healthspace and select choose and book.
