Travel Advice
If you
require a vaccination for foreign travel you will need to consult
the nurse several weeks before your trip so that a course of
vaccinations can be arranged.
Although
some travel vaccines are provided free by the NHS many are not and
the cost must be borne by the patient.
We will
issue a private prescription (free of charge - generally surgeries
charge £10 or more for these) so you can get the required vaccines
from the chemist. We do not make profit from sale of travel
vaccines but there is a fee of £10 per person to cover
administration costs( we charge £20 per family) - please ask at
reception to book in for our travel advice appointment and for
more information please see our Travel Leaflet available from
reception.
